Legal issues

So, my sister's family is moving to New Mexico... which is fine, except I live in Michigan. So, does anyone actually know what the LAW is on shipping alcohol across state lines, so we can continue trading booze? (My brother in law just got into homebrewing beer, and starting to get good at it!) I know the distributors have a lock down on most alcohol shipping, but has anyone found loopholes? (Other than the one the mislabeling alcohol as "vinegar" and mailing it anyhow. Thanks, arcata1, for that advice!)
